I had to have my IT department exchange my computer and clean out all my files. Well this lead to me having to try and remember every password for every program or website I go to. Well I forgot half of them. I also used to be able to remember every persons phone numbers. Now with cell phones I scroll down to the persons name and press talk. So if my cell phone is not with me or batteries are dead and I need to call someone, I cant remember their number. I love Technology, but it makes me use my brain less and therefore makes me dumber, not that I was that smart to begin with.

LEEROY!!!!!!!

for anyone that has not seen the greatness of my new hero LEEROY Jenkins here is the link...
http://linnwood.org/uploads/leeroy.wmv

My Favorite cartoons growing up

Saturday Mornings growing up were the best. As a whole the episode was good but it wasnt as good as I had hoped, with the exception of one skit. I originally started a blog to give my opinions on sporting events or whatever but found that I actually dont have the time to formulate an intelligent post (I've gained lots of respect for actual writers). Plus I have come to the realization that most that come to my blog only come to look at Preston (zhand). Wow, that’s um, great, that really will help us, uh, does this really need a press conference? Yes Shawn Bradley retiring improves the Mavs, and in a weird way so does Michael Finley leaving. But Desagana Diop and Doug Christie? And we are holding a press conference to pretend this is a good thing? I know Cuban likes to dote on his players but, Desagana Diop and Doug Christie? I just don’t get it. There has to be more down the road right? Do something with Van horns expiring contract since he isn’t really help to this team as a player. Bring in someone with a post up game for the offense. Cuban and the Mavs are usually good at coming out of left field with trades. Hopefully the press conference Friday is more than the garbage it seems to be at this point. Dallas is by far football first. The rangers can hold attention, if they are competitive. When they fall out of contention or do some of the Hart and Hicks things they do its hard to want to follow the team. Living in Dallas we have 2 of the best sports owners Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban. They both care more about winning than making a profit. Yes they may get a little too involved, but its their team. They can do what they want with the teams they own. The other 2 teams we have in Dallas are owned by Tom Hicks. At first he was like the other 2. He had instant success with the Stars winning a Stanley Cup and the Rangers making the playoffs every year. Then he started to give out big money to mediocre players that didn’t produce, and his non-sports business’s started losing money. So now we have a thrifty owner who tells fans if they come he will spend, but in reality all he keeps doing is cutting payroll. As a HUGE sports fan all I ask in the summer is something to hold my attention from the time the Mavs season is over till the time the Cowboys season begins. The owner of the baseball team doesn’t care about winning anymore. That’s why these are the dog days of summer. We thank you for your support.

Harry Potter Thoughts

Book 7 is going to be a million pages in order to answer all the questions and complete the series. I believe Snape was acting on Dumbledores orders to kill him. Needed to happen for many reasons and the fight Hagrid overhear between Snape and Dumbledore was probably Snape trying to refuse. Remember the way Dumbledore treated Harry when they were retrieving the fake locket. How he said follow my orders no matter what.
Well Snape had the same orders and Dumbledore didn’t want Malfoy to kill him so when he saw Snape he pleaded…does anyone think as great as Dumbledore was he would need to plead for his life…he was pleading for Snape to follow his orders. Dumbledore needed to die so Harry can kill Voldermort. Everyone (except Hagrid and members of the D.A.) that Harry has loved have died and love is the thing that will kill Voldermort. Although I was upset at the Star Wars rip off when Luke saw Darth Vader kill Obi-wan it has the same effect. Another thing they will probably rip off from Star Wars is Dumbledore will probably be able to communicate with a dead Dumbledore. One question I had at first was why Harry would let Ron and Hermione join him but not Ginny? But then I thought Ginny and other crucial members of D.A. ( it will be 7 Luna, Harry, Ron , Hermione , Ginny , Neville and someone else? ) will all end up joining Harry in Book 7. The mystery of R.A.B. is going to be Sirios’ brother. I read that there were clues to this and that the locket is in the House Harry now owns. Hogwarts will be open next year and Harry will come to find clues and there will be one Horcrux there but he won’t stay. Like one of my good friends said I can’t wait to read the next book. For me inducting the Triplets before the before I was born greats make the Ring of Honor is a good thing. I understand Drew Pearson is greatness and meant a lot to the history of the Cowboys but the only games I watched him play were replays of the “old” days. Up to this point the only players in the Ring of Honor I had seen play were Randy White and Tony Dorsett. Other than Gary Hogeboom era the 90s and the Triplets are my fondest memories of the Cowboys. I believe putting the Triplets in together before all the “olds” are in is a marketing scheme by Mr. Jones but who cares. I think it was the best thing for everyone under 30.
